breastfeeding around the world

(Anyatejjel a világ körül)

I was excited to be among the few photographers whose work was exhibited at the "Breastfeeding Around the World" event in Budapest, Hungary in October 2016. The exhibition aimed to create awareness of the importance of "breastfeeding without restrictions", so mothers can be comfortable to feed their babies whenever and wherever.

Thank you On The Spot for the opportunity to be a part of this cause and I also appreciate the support of UNICEF Magyarország and WHO Magyarország (Hungary).

It was a wonderful shooting day in the Omani desert with Eszter Cseke and András S. Takács as we managed to capture beautiful moments. Please click here to view all the exhibited photos and more.

abandoned house in Beirut

Beirut, Lebanon's capital was once known as “the Paris of the Middle East” because of its French-colonial architecture however fifteen years of civil war has left its dramatic mark on many  buildings. Sadly most have become endangered and continue to vanish apace. Although they are abandoned, the ghosts of their scarred past and their spirit can never be diminished.

While living in Beirut I walked by this magnificent building every day on my way to work and was mesmerized by its complexity – I captured its facade one day with perfect light before sunset.   I hope that Beirut's brilliant yet bloody history speaks to you through this image as it did to me.

The "Abandoned house in Beirut" was selected by getty images in 2018 and available here.
